The Man Behind Curtain
Empowering coaches to develop their own philosophy
As a volleyball coach for over 40 years, I have collected numerous books, articles, and videos that have covered all the relevant training/theories during this time period. Having this information provided a means to compare training strategies, develop team systems, and gain a deeper understanding of the game.

With the web, coaches have been given access to an overwhelming variety of choices to research topics, find drills, or investigate training theories. As a coach, you should develop your own philosophies on training, team building, systems, etc. To properly educate yourself on any particular topic, you should visit multiple sites to understand your options and compare the strengths and weaknesses of these theories.
While researching volleyball topics, it was clear that our community could use a centralized database that would increase the efficiency of investigating a topic or finding a drill. Using Volleyball Wisdom, you will be able to isolate a topic and compare a variety of articles and videos. I believe this will make your volleyball education more efficient and meaningful. In addition, I highly encourage you to attend a variety of clinics which will allow you to network and discuss current topics of interest.
This site is a work-in-progress. If you have any suggestions for topics, videos, or articles, please use the contact form below and let me know your thoughts.
